He goes on to talk about the markings’ forms in relation to each of the tribes in Sudan. The author refers to stories about maidservants from the book Muruj Al-Dhahab and to poems by Al-Mutanabbi, varying between praise and satire. The author returns at the end of the booklet to mentioning waterwheels.
