He dug a well that was named after him, and then he fought and conquered the Shayqiya. He remained in the Shayqiya region where he married and had sons who founded a tribe, the Children of Karor. He was succeeded by his son, King Mansour.

Description: Biography of the Muslim scholar of Sudan 'Abdu al-Aziz al-Dabbagh Muhammad Abdu al-Majid. Born in Sennar in 1301 AH and later settled in the city of Omdurman. He was taught by his father, who was also a scholar, and grew up in the mosque which was replete with scholars. He excelled in Maliki jurisprudence, Al-Khalil’s summary and exegesis, monotheism, theology and Hadith's science.
