Description: Wingate had sent the index of the correspondence seized at Tūkar to the Sirdar, General Grenfell (see NRO-M000999). In this second note, Wingate informs the Sirdar that two other copies were sent, one to Lord Cromer, the Consul-General of Egypt, and the other to the Colonel Holled-Smith in Sawākin who had led the advance against Tūkar. 14/04/1891

Irshād al-sārī fī sharḥ Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī [Guidance for the Benighted Venturer Towards Explanation of the Sahih of al-Bukhari)] is a gloss of Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, one of the most important collection of ḥawādith by Shihāb al-Dīn al-Qasṭallānī (1448-1517). Of the ten volumes comprised in this work, are available here the volumes 3, 4, 6 and 9.

Description: This booklet contains proverbs, dates, praise, and poetry, following on from the second pamphlet in the series. The scholar and linguist Abu al-Hasan Ali bin Ismail Al-Andalusi, known as Ibn Al-Sayda, who died 458, said in his book Al-Nakhl: ‘The palm tree is the date tree, and the plural is palms, date palms, and palms, and its first name is 'Al-Naqeera' and the nucleus, the navel of the nucleus and the fovea, in which the back of the nucleus is, form the palm sprouts, form a small round seed. He also discusses the thorns of the palm, the stem, the kernel and the trunk’. Also mentioned is the palm tree's methods of reproduction.

Description: On the value of a horse left by ʿAlī Fāḍl Allāh Kāfūt upon his death in 1304, bought by his brother, ʿAwaḍ al-Karīm Fāḍl Allāh Kāfūt, with his personal money and money of the treasury. He gave 250 riyāl to the orphans of his brother, but the treasury never paid them the remaining sum.
