Description: An autobiographical account of the author's travels and experiences. An introduction is made by Mr Ismail Al-Azhari, the Prime Minister at the time, who praises the author. Further introductions are made by a number of others, including Tom Little, who also praises the author, Muhammad Ahmed Barakat, who talks about the legendary man (the author, or 'Sudanese Sinbad') and provides an introduction to some of his books, and Muhammad Ahmed Mahjoub. The book contains several chapters, in which the author talks about his origins, childhood, his first love, from Hijaz to the countryside. He also discusses the White Brigade (Al-Abyad Brigade) and the secret Sudanese resistance movements. Also he deals with the killing of Sardar and then the pioneers of success in Brazil. The Al-Abyad Brigade Association was a Sudanese political movement that emerged in the mid-1920s to raise national political awareness in Sudan against British colonialism and call for unity between Egypt and Sudan under the banner of unity of the Nile Valley. The book was originally written in the Arabic language, but later translated to English.

The popular songs that were sung for enthusiasm, exile and against colonalism, so the recording and preservation of these villas and marches as a military cultural heritage leads to the origin of the march of Sudanese art, which can be added to the history of Sudanese and military music.
