Description:

The Fung is an ethnic group in what is known today as Sudan and are an ancient and indigenous element in the Blue Nile State, and there are opinions about the origin of the tribe. Researchers suggest the home of the Funj to one of three regions: Bilad Abyssinia, Bilad El Bornu and Diyar El Shilluk on the White Nile.
